Current site
The Better Pick is currently a static website with no user accounts, active newsletter signup, or database. We do not ask visitors to submit personal information through the current site.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 on thebetterpicks.com to understand page views and outbound Amazon affiliate clicks. Click events include the product, category, page type, link destination, and link location; we do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information.
Analytics storage is denied by default. If you select Accept analytics, your choice is saved on this device and analytics storage is enabled for page-view and outbound-click measurement. If you decline, analytics storage remains disabled. Advertising storage, Google Signals, and ad-personalization signals remain disabled in either case. Google processes analytics information under its Privacy Policy.
Hosting and technical data
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like most hosting services, the provider may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as request and device data. Their handling of that information is governed by their own policies.
External and affiliate links
Pages on this site link to third-party websites, including Amazon. Those services may collect information under their own privacy policies when you visit them.
Planned revisions
Any future provider, newsletter service, or material change to data collection, retention, or visitor choice will be described here before launch.
